PumpGuards are a true flow-thru design and a much superior design than the standard hose type damper. Able to work a higher pressure and be far more responsive over the whole pressure range.

Compatible for use with sludge with solids through to non-viscous oils, chemicals, and food manufacture suitable for both suction and discharge use.

Standard PumpGuards are manufactured with carbon steel non wetted parts and stainless steel wetted, with a suitable (Nitrile, EPDM Viton etc.) rubber bladder.

A Pulsation Damper is a liquid pressure container that reduces pressure variations and flow fluctuations . The container is often divided in to two sides by a flexible membrane, diaphragm, bladder, flextube, one containing compressibe nitrogen gas, and the other side through which the liquid goes; in the process the liqid pressure and flow variations are reduced or “dampened”.
